I'm grateful to have moments of serenity in my life....It only comes to me in short little moments...as the years go on, it seems those moments are closer together and then there comes a time when a bunch of them string together with no space in between and pretty soon it appears as though there is long term serenity in my life, but God and I both know it's really just a moment and that's just enough
Sincerely, Chuck T.

I am grateful for my sobriety, it is so unlikely I would stay sober.
I am grateful my kids are healthy and both speaking to me.
I am grateful for my job.
I am grateful for my service commitments.
I am grateful for The Biggest Loser starting again.
I am grateful for my friends. When I was drinking I fostered pseudo-intimacy that blew away with the wind. Now I have freinds that stand by me in good times and bad. Today was my sobriety anniversary, I spent it working, in meetings, with family and friends. Life is good.

I want to add (tonight) that I'm grateful that I and others in recovery with me no longer have to get offended by comments made by others spoken in innocence, and if there IS a misunderstanding, we can talk about it (input/feedback) without having to avoid each other and cop resentments. It's so much easier to Face Everything And Recover (acronym=FEAR) rather that Fark Everything And Run!
