By going to AA and NA meetings and doing the next right thing. It's always a matter of respecting all things and all others right to believe they way they do.

Things are going better. Been keeping busy! Gave up on the dating thing right now. Need some me time to take stock of things and see where I need to work on next. And yes Loretta, It is a great day to be sober!

- This is always a hard one for me to fill out. Who am I? Lets see.....The person I am now, is a very different person then who I was. I was angry,alone, untrusting and uncaring. I thought only in terms of me. You know, I AM the center of the universe! LOL What a crock huh? I know I am a product of abuse on all levels.
Who I am now: I care about myself and growing as a human being, I love life and being around others who also share this love. I love people and try to make a good impact on those I meet. I am kind now, instead of mean. For every negative thing I used to be, I have tried to replace it with positive. I am a sharing person and I am still working on finding the me I lost a long time ago. The real person before allof the garbage took over. Me is a continuing discovery.

- I'm an eceltic music listener, anything from classical to rock to Pow Wow music. I like to take pictures, make latchhook rugs and am learning how to make mosaics. I love the outdoors(when its not to cold). I like camping and swimming and taking long walks in the woods.

This is one of the hardest blogs to write. A week ago my ex-husband found me on Facebook. We have been talking and I realized that I still had some feelings there. We were talking about maybe getting back together, and trying to make a new life with each other. Things happen in mysterious ways!
First off I want to wish everyone a very happy holiday season! I was told when I first came in the rooms, that this was going to be a wild ride! I'm doing the best I can.
I've written this in another recovery group so if this a repeat for you I'm sorry.
Some of you may know that I live with my ex. We did it to share expences, but awhile ago things started to get bad between us. I went looking for an apartment and it fell through. I'm still looking, because things haven't gotten any better, they've gotten worse. I should get a call on Monday, so pray that the woman that manages the place has something avalible! what a rotten time of year to pull… Continue

Happy Thanksgiving!
I hope everyone had a safe and happy Thanksgiving. I have a lot to be thankful for, I have good people who are like family to me, as well as my family. - Been busy moving from one end of the state to the other & back again lol to spend time with Tazz and sort & pack my belongings for the permanent move. I love where I am with Tazz & the lifestyle is exactly to my taste hehe! With a great mix of AA & bike club outings & riding with my man. Very happy with him & amazed at just how easy it is to live with him after being on my own & loving it lol!! I hope you are well & happy my friend & think i am more settled now that i have moved most of my stuff up last week. Want to spend more time on the site now that I am as I have missed it a lot. Got a lot of catching up to do with everyone as I have only really being doing welcoming; featuring & recording the birthdays etc when I have been on.
