the ninth step can be really tough. I've had to re-visit the harm that I've done to people I loved. Not a place I enjoy going.

- I hit bottom earlier this year in a big way. Classic alcoholic story. Lost my job, lost my car, got in big trouble with the law. My life pretty much fell apart, and for that, I am actually truly grateful. I had to be shown in a dramatic way that my life was unmanageable before I could begin this road to recovery. It's a road I've embrace wholeheartedly. I've jumped into the pool with everything I've got and have re-connected with my higher power and am building a new way of looking at my spirituality, my role on this planet and what to do each day.
