At 4:50pm on November 21, 2011, Aussie Glenda Truss said…: My husband left me without warning so was devastated & in shock but i went to a meeting that night (he was there) sat with my sponsor and friends, cried & treated him as i treat everyone at AA (it was very hard!) but that is what i knew i had to do. i never let him or his new girlfiend (who was abusive to me for no reason) scare me away from a meeting. i confused them by treating them really nicely lol as i never wanted to have to apologize to them haha! they eventually went to a meeting i didnt go to & after a couple of months i realized he had done me a big favour by leaving - that was almost 5 years ago & i just got happier day by day. good luck with your situation hugsz aussie
