life turned upside down

i am writing this blog with not really knowing what to say. my head is spinning in all sorts of directions. ive learned through out the years in AA that as long as i talk about whats going on, and don't pick up a drink i will stay sober. i moved to arizona six years ago to be with my partner. we bought a house last year and moved in on christmas. the week before christmas i lost my job. the week of christmas, my partner decided to end our six yrs and 9 months relationship. she is keeping the…See More

Grieving a beloved pet.

Less than a week ago,We had to make a tough decision and have our beloved Gizmo put to sleep. He was almost 12 yrs. and had congestive heart failure. Knowing it was the honorable decision to make for our "little guy", still has not been the easiest decision for me. The house feels empty even though I have my partner and two cats.
