Hello everyone,

My name is Robert S. and i just joined the site today, i have been sober for almost 25 months now. I'm hoping to find some more A.A. friends around my area so we can hit up some meetings etc.

it is wonderful to have you here! congrats on the 13 months - way to go! i cant join you in person in meetings but can in the online ones onsite. hope to see you there

Hi Robert,
My name is John and I live in New Jersey, Trenton area. I've been sober for 2 years and 7 months now. It's a beautiful life now that I've quit drinking. I'm kind of computer challenged but learning more every day!

Congrats. on your 13 months! Know from experience that this is a much better way of life. I've been in and out for ten years or more and this is the longest period of sobriety I've had. God willing and some work on my part and I'll never have to go back to the dreadful life I had while drinking.

Thanks for the reply's. I had to make a correction to my original post because at the time of posting it, i had almost 25 months sober. My sobriety date is June 23, 2007. No idea why i put only 13 months lol, i must of been tired that night.

Oh well Thanks again, and i look forward to meeting more people.
